I’m a news junkie who creates content that opens people’s minds and promotes social justice.
At my current position as an associate producer at CNN+, I’ve covered breaking news stories like the Brooklyn subway shooting and Ketanji Brown Jackson’s SCOTUS confirmation. On air in the control room, I organize, anticipate, and fill requests for videos, images, and graphics to give viewers the full story.
In previous roles at Fox Business and Bold TV, I’ve produced content on topics ranging from pop culture and social issues to politics and business. Building Bold TV’s livestreaming network from the ground up combined with working at networks like FBN and CNN have given me a vast understanding of media organizations at any size.
I love consuming media and looking at it from different perspectives — through a feminist lens, through a racial lens, etc.
- I brought you Jon Taffer’s answer to the worker shortage on Fox Business (hint: it involves robots).
- This segment I produced with the voice of Disney’s Pocahontas discussing Native American representation went viral and was picked up by The Daily Dot, AJ+, and other outlets.
- My article on the rape kit backlog got a shout-out from SVU’s Mariska Hargitay.
- I interviewed the star of Mean Girls on Broadway and talked feminism, high school, and #MeToo.
- A U.S. Senator yelled at me while I was covering the 2016 presidential election.
When I’m not live-tweeting award shows or refreshing my CNN app, I’m listening to comedy podcasts and hunting for the best street art in Brooklyn.
I graduated from Colorado State University, with BAs in Journalism and Media Communications, and Communication Studies.
Additionally, I have experience with SEO, video editing, social media management, brand development, photography, and more.
